According to Metro, an unnamed man was sleeping fully clothed in bed when he felt his pants and boxers being lowered. Assuming it was his girlfriend trying to give him a surprise blowjob (which is a fair assumption, who else would be around to take his pants off?), the man “allowed the person to continue touching his genitals and performing the sex act for a short while.”
Unfortunately for the man, upon opening his eyes he saw that the blowjob he was receiving was in fact NOT from his girlfriend, but from a 22-year-old gay man named Dale Everard:
When he realised it was actually a male stranger – a 22-year-old gay man called Dale Everard – he jumped out of bed ‘in a state of shock and anger’.
The victim burst into tears after Everard told him ‘you liked it’ and pushed his attacker out into the street, Dunfermline Sheriff Court heard.(via)
The man and his girlfriend had reportedly met Everard earlier that night at a nightclub and had told them that he was on a blind date, however he was not fond of the man he’d been set up with. The unnamed man left the club by himself around 2 a.m., while his girlfriend and Everard took a taxi together shortly after. Understandably, the man and his girlfriend had a fight over the fact that she brought an almost-random stranger to their apartment.
The sexual assault occurred after the two of them fell asleep, with the unnamed man on top of his bed and the girlfriend on the sofa.
Everard was sentenced to 18 months in jail on Monday after having admitted to assaulted the unnamed man and was put onto the sex offenders register.
