You would have thought that relations between the New York Yankees and the Chicago Cubs would be pretty tight considering that the teams recently swapped infielder Starlin Castro for right-hander Adam Warren. But apparently not, at least not according to this brutal Twitter exchange.
It was all started by one instigating person suggested that the Yankees had a better Twitter account than the Cubbies. It caused the Cubs’ Twitter to ask their followers who had the better social media account.
That’s when the Yankees’ Twitter account dropped the atomic bomb.
That lethal tweet left the Cubs with nothing to say but “Wow.”
