After signing a two-year, $47 million deal with his hometown Chicago Bulls last month, three-time NBA champ Dwyane Wade made his next big decision now that he’s back in the Windy City—where to live.
And the place that D-Wade got himself is one incredible pad.
While Wade and his wife, actress Gabrielle Union, didn’t purchase the 11,000 square foot Gold Coast property, they have decided to lease it—meaning they could, potentially, just call it home until something more permanent pops up.
In addition to being in the heart of one of Chicago’s trendiest neighborhoods—it’s a few blocks off of Michigan Ave.—the 19th century estate includes eight bedrooms, a 148-inch projection screen, a refrigerator for wine that stores 720 bottles and a full “smart home” automation.
According to DNAinfo, the place was also used as the main home in the ’70s TV show Webster, and was recently on the market for about $9.5 million before the future Hall of Famer snatched it up.
