Today marks the 69th anniversary since Jackie Robinson became the first African-American player to play in Major League Baseball, breaking the color barrier and paving the path for thousands of athletes since.
The tradition to honor Robinson’s major accomplishment in 1947 is always a cool one each year in baseball, allowing each player to wear the No. 42 and breakout other unique ways to pay tribute to the Hall of Famer—and one of the best ways is through cleats, which is why I just needed to show some of the coolest.
While some big leaguers are rocking that dope design by adidas baseball, others have put their own twist on remembering Robinson, so good work by everyone in MLB today.
