Washington Nationals pitcher Gio Gonzalez might be the No. 3 starter in the rotation and not pitching today, but that didn’t stop Jordan Brand from sending the lefty a sick pair of Air Jordan IV cleats to kick-off Opening Day with.
Taking to Instagram prior to his team’s first pitch against the Atlanta Braves this afternoon, Gio’s Jordan cleats shows how stylish ballplayers are looking to be as the 2016 season begins, featuring some of the coolest custom cleats I’ve seen in a long time.
Gonzalez is scheduled to start on Wednesday against Atlanta, so I wonder if he’ll be rocking these things.
In addition to the cleats, Jordan Brand re-released the Legend Blue, Air Jordan XIs earlier today, too, although those were scooped up in about 15 minutes, so sorry if you missed out, bros.
