You just want some ice cream so you head on over to McDonald’s, order your Oreos McFlurry or vanilla cone and the drive-thru operator tells you, “Sorry, our ice cream machine is out of service right now.” You immediately have a personal crisis because you don’t want an apple pie for dessert. It happens so often that there are even memes about the McDonald’s ice cream machine breaking down.

You may be broke inside, but you’re nowhere near the level of McDonald’s ice cream machine broke inside. Finally, someone is doing something about this national calamity. There is now an app that tells you if your local McDonald’s ice cream machine is down or not. Now you don’t have to endure the soul-crushing disappointment of not getting ice cream thanks to the Ice Check app. Users can search McDonald’s locations to see if their ice cream machine is operational or not. Users update the app when they order ice cream from Mickey D’s and then notify the rest of us on which McDonald’s to avoid so we don’t waste our time and energy seeking ice cream that is not available.

Ice Check’s creator, Raina McLeod, told BuzzFeed, “I came up with the idea for the app around a year ago, after a late night Oreo McFlurry craving went unfulfilled due to the ice cream machine being down.”

The description of the game-changing app that launched in April from the iTunes App Store: “Finally, a way to find WORKING McDonald’s ice cream machines — right from your phone! Ice Check will tell you if the machines are UP or DOWN in real-time, using crowd-sourced info and input from participating locations.” Imagine how much your phone would be blowing up with notifications of every McDonald’s in a 25-mile radius not having functional ice cream machines?

What if I told you that there are probably slim chances that there are widespread ice cream machine failures happening regularly and more likely that McDonald’s employees don’t want to make you an ice cream cone with sprinkles? They broke down the ice cream machine early to bust out of work ASAP. The world is a cruel place.

Things got ugly during today’s Bucs-Saints game when both team got into an altercation on the field.

Watch as Jameis WInston and Marson Lattimore argue on the sideline when Mike Evans comes out of nowhere to shove Lattimore in the back.

Evans was somehow not ejected for the shove but will surely face discipline from the league for his hit.

Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones has made several tough catches in his hall of fame worthy career but on Sunday Jones dropped a sure fire touchdown pass on 4th down that may have cost his team a chance to beat the Panthers.

Just been that kind of year for the Falcons.

Former porn star and FSU super fan Mia Khalifa was not pleased with Bengals wide receiver A.J. Green for putting a beat down on FSU alum Jalen Ramsey during today’s Jags-Bengals game.

Mia went off on Green in series of tweets to defend Ramsey.

T.Y. Hilton is sneaky. In the third quarter of today’s Colts-Texans game, the Colts wide receiver took a dive to avoid being tackled on a long third-quarter catch, and then decided to play dead for a bit before deciding to get back up to run for the easy touchdown

Before today’s game, Seahawks kicker Blair Walsh was having a pretty solid season having made 12 out of 13 field goals but the meltdown was inevitable coming.

On Sunday, Walsh missed all three of his first half field goal attempts.

Of course Walsh got instantly roasted by Twitter for his woes.

Team celebrations has easily been the best addition to the NFL season. During today’s Chiefs-Cowboys game, the Kansas City Chiefs awesomely celebrated their touchdown with a potato sack race in the end zone.

It seems like LaMar Odom hasn’t learned his lesson after nearly dying a few years ago from a drug overdose.

Early this morning, Odom was filmed collapsing at an LA night club and having to be helped by security.

Odom was at Bootsy Bellows on the Sunset Strip when several staffers and patrons noticed the ex-NBA star collapsed to the ground around 2 AM. You can see security rush in to help and he seems to be conscious.

The person who shot the video tells TMZ Sports he saw Odom drinking for several hours before the incident.

Hopefully Lamar is ok and gets his life together.

Things have been heated across the league today as we’ve seen several fights in different games. During today’s Niners-Cardinals game, several players got into it after the Niners felt CJ Beathard got hit late after a running play.

Two Cardinals players, Haason Reddick and Frostee Rucker were joined by Niners running back Carlos Hyde in getting ejected from the game.

While you were getting sweaty watching Cops or putting liquid paper on a bee, some potentially outstanding news has been revealed. Your two favorite jagaloons could potentially be back to fuck shit up. That’s right, Will Ferrell unveiled that he has discussed a Step Brothers sequel and the plot sounds spectacular!

Four months ago, Ferrell was asked if there was a sequel in the works for Elf and A Night at the Roxbury and he responded by saying, “I’ve got great news for you… No.” However, Ferrell did say, “We talked a little bit about Step Brothers, so who knows?” Now Ferrell revealed that he has more than had a little talk about Step Brothers 2, he has a plot.

Ferrell, who played Brennan Huff in Step Brothers, told the New York Daily News about the interesting storyline to the highly coveted sequel. “We talked about Step Brothers and then Adam and I got sidetracked with other things,” said Ferrell. “We had a whole story where John (C. Reilly) and I follow our parents to live in a retirement community and try to convince them that we earned the right to retire as well.” It appears that Brennan was so pissed off at his mom that he put her in a home.

“The sequel thing is so funny because, we decided obviously to go down the road with Anchorman, and we made what I thought was a really great sequel, really funny,” Ferrell said of making sequels. “The entertainment media and fans beg you, and beg you, and beg you for sequels, and then you make it and you definitely have a fraction that’s like, ‘Well, not as good as the first one.’ So I guess it’s a catch-22. It’s a nice catch-22, because people love the movies in the first place.”

There are so many questions about the sequel.

• Is Nancy living at the retirement home? If so how will the Doback men be able to shit with the door open, talk about pussy, go on riverboat gambling trips, and make their own beef jerky?
• Will the retirement house have a garage for karate and storing a pretty awesome collection of nudie magazines?
• Will the retirement home have enough room for activities?
• Does Dale really want to retire from his job as a college janitor who sometimes figures out equations?
• If Brennan ever got that fantastic job at Enterprise Rent-A-Car, which of course has an excellent corporate structure as well as the tools to be your own boss, would he ever retire from such a sweet gig?
• What happened to Prestige Worldwide?
• What about fucking Catalina Wine Mixer?
• Will Dale and Brennan really want to move into a house that is a fucking prison on Planet Bullshit in the galaxy of This Sucks Camel Dicks?

Until Step Brothers 2 comes out or doesn’t (And if Ferrell is making Daddy’s Home 2, there’s no excuse to make Step Brothers 2) you will be able to see Ferrell and Reilly in the upcoming movie Holmes and Watson. The action-mystery film is said to be a comedic take on Sherlock Holmes and is scheduled to be released on November 9, 2018. Until then, stay golden, ponyboy.

The NFL may have relaxed their rules for celebrating touchdowns but the No Fun League is going to come down on Raiders wide receiver for busting out the “big balls” dance after he scored a TD on Sunday Night Football.

Of course the big balls dance comes out of the classic 90’s movie Major League.

There’s a reason why 300+ pound football players shouldn’t run with the ball. During tonight’s Dolphins-Raiders SNF game, Raiders offensive tackle Marshall Newhouse recovered a fumble and attempted to run the ball for a bit. Let’s just say things didn’t end well for him as he got flipped in the air after getting clipped in the legs by the Dolphins defense.

I didn’t know big men could that much air time.

With only days until the New York City mayoral election, incumbent mayor Bill de Blasio declared his opinion on a divisive hot-button topic that could destroy his political aspirations. In a move that pundits and political insiders may call reckless, de Blasio weighed in on the tendentious issue of cargo shorts. The current NYC mayor not only defended wearing the polarizing garb but insinuated that every New Yorker should own cargo shorts.

Last week, the New York Times interviewed De Blasio and asked his opinion on a myriad of paramount issues of the day, including cargo shorts. The NYC mayor had this to say about the controversial wardrobe choice, “Valuable part of anyone’s wardrobe.”

This is not the first time that de Blasio has flaunted his love affair of multi-pocketed shorts. Over the years, de Blasio has proudly worn cargo shorts. Even going so far as to wear cargo shorts at the gym where he did yoga. In cargo shorts.

The NYC media torched de Blasio for wearing the often villainized wardrobe choice. “New Yorkers aghast as de Blasio wears cargo shorts to gym,” a New York Daily News headline read. A DNA Info headline skewered de Blasio, “Mayor de Blasio Didn’t Get the Memo About Cargo Shorts.” It certainly appears that the media has a definitive anti-cargo shorts agenda and is willing to challenge anyone who shops at Old Navy.

Weighing in on a hot-button topic such as cargo shorts only days before an election could be seen as political suicide. De Blasio may have just provided fodder and political ammunition for his fellow opponents vying for the position of mayor of arguably the greatest city on the planet. But you have to respect that de Blasio sticks to his garmet ideologies despite what many in the Big Apple may see as a massive fashion faux pas. However, will de Blasio’s stance on this polarizing issue cost him votes in the election and possibly even cost him the election itself? You can wear all the cargo shorts you want if you’ve lost the election and now have the free time to take a 3-month vacation in the Bahamas.

Sports is a business. We hear this over and over. But even in the world of business, it’s shocking to see when a company/boss/employee displays a complete lack of human compassion. This is the story of how Mike Golic of ESPN’s Mike & Mike lost his job as a defensive tackle with the Miami Dolphins.

In the NFL, contracts are not guaranteed. If a player gets cut so does the contract. One caveat to protect injured players from this ruthless business is that NFL teams cannot cut injured players to clear up salary cap space.

In 1993, Mike Golic was a starting defensive tackle with the Miami Dolphins (played in 15 games, started in 8). In the very first game of the season, Golic partially tore a ligament in his knee. I’m not sure exactly which ligament he tore but as someone who has torn his meniscus twice, I cannot imagine playing 15 games on a bum knee. Instead of opting for surgery in Week 1, Golic played the entire season with the partially torn ligament before he underwent surgery in the offseason to repair his knee. Meanwhile, the Miami Dolphins had drafted two defensive tackles in the NFL draft that offseason.

When Mike Golic showed up to training camp he wanted to compete for his starting position but his knee wasn’t 100% yet. The team couldn’t cut Mike if he was technically still injured, and he was. I’ll let Mike take it from here (via Business Insider):

I was still recovering from the knee surgery and training and such. I wanted to give mini-camp a good test for my knee. It wasn’t 100% [healthy] by any chance. So, I was in talking to the team trainer about my knee. I said ‘Listen, it is not really 100%, but I want to go out here and I want to try to see what it can do during mini-camp.’ He said, ‘Well, if you are going to go out there, you need to sign this piece of paper that says your knee is fine and you are going to go practice.’ I did because I wanted to go out there and practice.
“So I sign the piece of paper, open the door, and there was somebody standing right there, right there,” Golic said as he pointed in front of him. “I couldn’t even leave the room, and he said ‘the general manager wants to see you.’ And I am like ‘You’ve got to be kidding me.'” (via)

I guess I’m just cut from a different cloth than the employees on NFL teams who would make a decision to do this. I can’t ever, in a million fucking years, imagine tricking someone into fighting for their job only to fire them because you got them to sign a piece of paper saying they weren’t injured. I hope this was a lesson for Mike, and anyone reading this, to always read everything before you sign it.

In case you somehow missed it, during the first half of the the Jaguars’ 23-7 win over the Bengals on Sunday Cincinnati wide receiver A.J. Green went full UFC on Jacksonville cornerback Jalen Ramsey.

After being lightly shoved by Ramsey during a running play by Joe Mixon, Green grabbed Ramsey in a semi-reverse chokehold, slammed him to the ground and started throwing punches. Important note: no one has ever hurt someone wearing a football helmet by punching them in the head.

Naturally, this turned into a free-for-all with Green and Ramsey both being ejected, though Ramsey didn’t really actually participate in the fight other than being a punching bag.

Referee Brad Allen gave this explanation after the game, “We ended up with a fight by Cincinnati, but we had the instigator in Jacksonville. Therefore, they were both disqualified.”

Also after the game, Ramsey reportedly went looking for Green in the visitor’s locker room and shouted profanities at the Bengals, according to ESPN.

According to multiple sources, Ramsey was then seen being restrained by Jaguars personnel and EverBank Stadium security. He was spotted heading toward the Bengals’ locker room before he was restrained, and as the Bengals came in at halftime, he started screaming profanities once he spotted them. Ramsey was also heard yelling that he was going to go find Green once security let him go.

Ramsey did not go in the locker room and was told to return to the Jaguars’ locker room and did, a source said.

Can’t say that I really blame him.

For his part, Green had this to say, according to Jacksonville.com…

“I should have walked off in that whole situation,” said the former Georgia receiver. “I definitely learned from this experience. It’s never going to happen again. Whatever the punishment, I accept it. I put myself in that situation.”

It’s still not really clear what Ramsey did specifically that led to Green losing his mind, but whatever it was, he and Ramsey will both certainly be hearing from the league this week.

The new Star Wars: The Last Jedi trailer that dropped during the World Series has everyone pumped for the film. Since the release is still over a month away (December 15th), we’ve got to keep our minds occupied. Maybe some Star Wars Everyday Carry, young Jedi?

Late last month the world was able to get their hands on Super Mario Odyssey. It was released on October 27th to much fanfare. The reviews are rolling in and…well…they’re interesting. The possibilities are endless, for better or worse. It’s a game that becomes more and more complex as you invest time into playing.

This review above from ‘The Internet Dunkey’ on YouTube paints a picture of how just about anything is possible in Super Mario Odyssey, but that means there isn’t really a whole lot of depth to the game. This is the latest installment in the Mario Bros. franchise and one I’m almost certain to buy at some point in my life. But let’s check out a few quotes from the review so you can see what the controversy is here:

“It’s not great because you can become an onion, it’s great because once you become an onion, you notice how many possibilities you’ve just opened up.”

“The gameplay is breathtaking and exciting” 4:21 shows Mario kicking several cans on a roof

Those quotes might sway you into thinking that there’s simply too much going on in Super Mario Odyssey, but that seems to be an aspect that everyone’s loving the shit out of. Sure, there are some negative reviews out there but you can’t please everybody all the time.

The Koenigsegg Agera RS just kicked Bugatti and Hennessey to the curb. In a two-way average speed test, the Koenigsegg Agera RS has broken the top speed world record and is officially the fastest production car ever built. How fast? Insanely fast.

On an 11-mile section of closed highway between Las Vegas and Pahrump, Nevada, Koenigsegg’s factory test driver Niklas Lilja set the new top speed world record with an average speed of 277.9 mph (444.6 km/h). The car actually made it up to 285 mph, which is hard for my mind to even comprehend.

The Koenigsegg Agera RS which set the new top speed world record in Nevada is a pretty special car. Not because it’s been altered from how it came off the line in Sweden, but because this is also the same customer’s car which recently broke the Bugatti Chiron’s 0-249mph-0 world record by over five seconds.

According to TopGear, the team had permission to close the 11-mile section of highway for several days in order to complete the world record but it only took the team a few hours before they’d set the new top speed record. The car averaged 284.55mph in one direction and 271.19mph going back the other direction. They were driving against a strong headwind coming back and they were driving uphill, hence the noticeable difference in speed.

The previous world record for top speed was set in 2014 at the Kennedy Space Center when a Hennessey Venom GT went 270.49mph in a one-direction speed test. The Koenigsegg Agera RS destroyed that record going both directions in this latest speed test and proved that it’s the fastest production car on the planet. This is almost certain to press Bugatti and Hennessey to step up their game and come out with something to compete against the Agera RS.
