A New York State battle of two top 15 teams, Archbishop Stepinac in Yonkers and Iona Prep in New Rochelle, was a heavyweight classic. Iona pulled out the 38-34 victory, but not before Syracuse-bound Atrilleon Williams grandfathered an Iona receiver. Williams, who also received offers from Boston College and Rutgers, is one of the state’s most dynamic athletes, and tearing a ball out of a receiver’s arms running full speed is indicative of that.

Lonzo Ball is definitely living up to his Big Baller moniker by recently purchasing himself a baller new mansion in Chino Hills for $5.2 million.

Technically, it was purchased by an LLC that lists Lonzo as its managing member, but there’s no doubt as to who will be living the Big Baller lifestyle there.

Obviously it will be LaVar… just kidding. Well, sort of… he was, after all, the one who gave ESPN a tour of the Ball’s new crib earlier this week.

As you can see from a couple of photos of the home by Realtor.com, the estate most definitely qualifies as baller.

ESPN and LaVar say that the mansion is 16,000 square feet, however the Los Angeles Times says it actually has under 14,000 square feet of actual space indoors. No way LaVar would embellish the truth, right?

Built in 2005, the home has 13,800 square feet of interior space that includes a formal entry, game and media rooms, a chef’s kitchen, a gym, eight bedrooms and 8.75 bathrooms. There are front and rear staircases as well as a wood-paneled elevator.

The gated estate sits on more than 3 acres of grounds with a fenced swimming pool and a separate, 1,200-square-foot guesthouse.

Naturally, LaVar being LaVar, he says that despite the house needing some work, it is still the “best house in an 80-mile radius” and the “biggest place in Chino Hills.”

For the past few months Tyrese has taking shots at Dwyane Johnson for ‘being selfish” when it was revealed that the next ‘Fast And The Furious’ franchise will be delayed until 2020 because The Rock was set to star in a spinoff movie with Jason Statham.

Janet Jackson kind of disappeared off our radar for awhile there. Her last album prior to 2015’s Unbreakable was way back in 2008. Since then, however, the now 51-year-old Jackson has been on tour pretty regularly for that album which also includes her current State of the World Tour, which is a continuation of her previous tour which was postponed in 2016 due to her pregnancy.

And I must say, it’s nice to see her again. Remember when Jackson also used to do a little acting? She was pretty darn good at it too.

Anyway, the point is, Janet is back and as part of her return is that she’s been lighting up Instagram since she joined the social media platform back in 2015.

Now earlier today we saw Halle Berry in what I considered to be one of the coolest Halloween costumes you’ll ever see.

But don’t sleep on Janet because this year she dressed up like Michelle Pfeiffer’s version of Catwoman in Batman Returns and quite frankly, that should just be Janet Jackson’s costume every Halloween. See if you don’t agree.

If you’re like me then you probably have fewer than a handful of hot sauces in the house. I’ve got the staples (Tabasco, Sriracha) as well as ‘Don’t Be A Chicken Shit’ Hot Sauce, Louisiana Hot Sauce, Valentina’s from Mexico, and Salsa Lizano from Costa Rica (doesn’t really count as a hot sauce though, IMHO). I like to keep a small variety on hand, but I also feel like I could be doing A LOT better when it comes to stocking hot sauces in my house. Unfortunately, I don’t really know where to begin when it comes to pairing new hot sauces with food. I’m sure I could Google this and I’d find years and years of articles written by diehard hot sauce aficionados about which hot sauces are best to pair with smoked ribs or halibut, but I’m lazy, and I also don’t know and trust the hypothetical people who’ve written those articles. Thankfully for me, the team behind Hot Ones just released this video explaining which hot sauces to pair with various foods:

First things first, when you’re pairing a hot sauce with a food you need to really think about what flavors are in the meal as well as the flavors within the hot sauce. This requires getting to know hot sauces pretty well, or you can just look up the flavor profiles of various hot sauces and choose one that way. You’ll want to take texture into account as well as heat level.

Something you don’t want to happen is dumping a chunky hot sauce onto a very fine dish. The juxtaposition there won’t be fun for anyone. The expert here also says it’s very important to keep the temperature consistent. You don’t want to hot -> cold -> hot -> cold fluctuations because that can ruin the flavor profile of your hot sauces. Washington State head football coach Mike Leach hit the nail on the head on this one. Candy corn is like N’SYNC’s Chris Kirkpatrick–no one know how he stuck around for so long, but things just wouldn’t have been the same without him. So as much as I’d be crestfallen if candy corn seized to exist, I’m perfectly okay with shitting all over it’s existence until I’m old, grey, and screaming at a cloud.

The Cleveland Browns are downright on and off the field. Yesterday, the Browns failed to complete an 11th hour trade for Bengals QB AJ McCarron because they forgot to send the NFL an email with all the paper work before the trade deadline.

So, the Bengals signed and filed their version of the agreed-upon deal just before the deadline. The Cleveland Plain-Dealer reported that the Bengals copied the Browns on that filing.

The Browns sent a copy of the deal to the Bengals, but The Enquirer confirmed the original ESPN report that the Browns did not send anything to the league. (That was also confirmed by The Cleveland Plain Dealer.)

Lewis was asked if he ever heard of a trade not be

“I don’t know that I’ve ever really heard of one,” he said.

“All you have to do is notify the league office you’re making a deal. And that’s an easy thing.”

While the Browns are blaming the Bengals for the mix-up, one NFL executive has a different view on the matter.

One high-level NFL personnel man also said “it would be crazy for the Browns to expect the Bengals to send the Browns’ paperwork to the NFL. They know they have to notify the league themselves.”

Another said, “The Browns know how to execute a trade. If they had really wanted to make this deal, they would have.”

Several sources have told cleveland.com that the personnel department — which values its draft picks very highly — didn’t want to make the trade in the first place, and that’s why it wasn’t agreed upon until 10 to 20 minutes before the deadline.

Ridiculous.

This is a quality story of revenge right here. A girl from Sacramento who recently broke up with her boyfriend noticed that someone, not her, had been using her Netflix account.

Knowing that there was only one other person, besides her family, that knew her Netflix password she quickly deduced that it was her ex-boyfriend who had been using her account even though, you know, they weren’t dating anymore.

Okay, first off… Bros, don’t mess with anyone’s Netflix account, let alone your girlfriend’s, and most certainly not your ex-girlfriend’s account. This should just be common knowledge at this point.

Now back to the story. Once she had this revelation she did what anyone in her situation would do and came up with the most savage form of revenge she could think of to torture him.

I’ll let her take it from there…

The girl who pulled off this ruthless move, Samantha Pellerin, explained to LadBible…

“We split up about two weeks ago, I went on my Netflix to start watching Stranger Things 2 but it said ‘resume watching’. I hadn’t even started and he’s the only one to have my password, so I knew it had to be him watching it.

It’s my family’s, they were hella mad at me for sharing the password with him.”

She has no regrets though, nor should she, saying that “screwed her over first.”

Five months ago, NASA’s Kepler space telescope has made an incredible discovery of 219 exoplanets, including 10 that are Earth-like and could possibly support life. A year ago, NASA found 1,284 new exoplanets, including nine that are potentially habitable. There’s no time for Keplar to rest on its laurels because it has already located 20 more planets that could potentially host life.

The prospective new worlds found during NASA’s K2 Mission could be our best bet yet at finding alien life as well as someday hosting us. Scientists are extremely thrilled and optimistic about these latest discoveries because these planets orbit stars much like our sun. Plus, they have long orbits and some are extremely similar to Earth. The most encouraging exoplanet is KOI-7923.0, which has an orbit of 395 days and is 97% the size of Earth. It is a little further from its star than Earth, so it is colder, but still warm enough and large enough to provide liquid water to support life. “If you had to choose one to send a spacecraft to, it’s not a bad option,” Jeff Coughlin, a team leader on the Kepler project and one of the scientists who found the new planets.

The fastest orbit of the potential life-giving planets is a mere 18 Earth days. NASA’s Kepler team said that 70 to 80% of the exoplanets are solid prospects for life. Before we send spacecraft to this potential Earth 2.0 NASA wants to investigate them further from ground-based observatories or the Hubble Space Telescope, which could take years based on the planet’s orbit. Once we finally do get there, I can’t wait for us to screw up 20 more planets.

This past weekend I was sitting with my friends at a bar talking about how our bodies are incapable of handling the effects of weed edibles without having self-reflective panic attacks. Never once have I heard of this substance before my friend mentioned it that night, never mind researched it.  For the rest of the night I felt like I was Jim Carrey in The Truman Show. Now in all likelihood it was just coincidental, but the mere fact that I gave plausibility to the possibility that someone or something was listening to our conversation and target-marketing me is indicative of where technology is going.
