Unless you’ve been living on a deserted island for months, you’ve heard ‘Despacito’ no less than a thousand times on the radio, in the club, at the bar, and everywhere else you turn. ‘Despacito‘ by Luis Fonsi featuring Daddy Yankee currently has 3,256,767,765 views on YouTube. That number’s so fucking high I have to question why YouTube’s even keeping track anymore. The remixed version with Justin Bieber has 494,877,447 views since it hit YouTube in mid-April.
Somehow, ‘Despacito’ wasn’t nominated for any MTV VMA’s this year even though it’s the most streamed track in history and spent 14 weeks at #1 on Billboard’s ‘Hot 100 chart’. But I haven’t watched the VMA’s, MTV, or any music awards show in years so I really don’t care about all that bullshit. What I do care about is this Heavy Metal cover of ‘Despacito’ by Leo Moracchioli. Leo’s performed some truly memorable heavy metal covers of pop songs over the years but I think this one takes the cake, don’t you?
