This Little Leaguer Who Hit A Home Run Into Outer Space Cannot Be 13 Years Old

Remember back in the early 2000s when that “kid” Danny Almonte was throwing 76 mph gas in the Little League World Series and we all just thought he was a phenom even though he drove his own car to the stadium and had lived through the Depression? We told ourselves we wouldn’t let history repeat itself, but here we are. Getting duped by this “13-year-old” playing for Georgia’s Peachtree City National Little League named Jayce Blalock.

Blalock blasted an estimated 375-foot gong, 175 feet over the 200-foot left field fence just moments after the announcer doubted Blalock could hit one into the trees. No word on whether Blalock’s grandchildren were in the stands to witness the blast.

Georgia beat South Carolina, 14-1, to stay alive in the Southeast regional. Hopefully this won’t be the only moon shot we see from Blalock before the Series ends or he dies of old age.
