One thing is for sure, Jordan Spieth hitting the ball Happy Gilmore style in a Pro-Am won’t generate as much hate as it did when John Peterson hit a ball the same way during an actual PGA Tour event. In Peterson’s defense, though, he was in last place and the shot got more coverage than anything in the event itself. So maybe it’s time to lighten the fuck up, Golf. Smile sometimes, you might just get more people to play the game that way.
