On Tuesday of this week we brought you the story of a guy who supposedly caught his girlfriend texting other men and then forced her to walk the streets of NYC naked as punishment. In all honesty it was a shitty video – I can’t think of anything short of genocide/murder that would make it okay for someone to force their significant other to do something like that, regardless of their sex.
But because karma is a fickle and occasional bitch, the guy behind the stunt has now been arrested…and it’s even worse than we initially thought. According to Daily Mail, 24-year-old Jason Melo allegedly beat and choked his 22-year-old girlfriend in front of her two-month-old daughter, THEN forced her to walk through the street naked. Just when you thought it couldn’t rain any harder, it starts to pour.
The girlfriend also says Melo threatened to push her down the stairs and threatened to slash her face before taking her outside.
According to sources, who spoke to the New York Daily News, Melo punched his girlfriend in the face and crotch, choked her, then threatened to kill her unless she undressed.
Dressed in nothing but a towel, Melo is then accused of leading her outside while filming and shouting that she is a ‘b****’ and a ‘w****’.(via)
Real classy.
However, in what appears to be an act of remorse Melo took to his Instagram page to try to explain how he’s not actually “as bad as you think”:

If you’re starting to feel bad for the guy, don’t — when you take those videos and throw them against the fact that the remainder of his Instagram is Melo talking about how he’s going to be rich and famous one day, you remember that the guy is just another gigantic douchebag who thinks too highly of himself for undeserved reasons.
Do less, dude.
