It’s been 10 years to the day since Steve Irwin ‘The Crocodile Hunter’ died after being struck through the heart by the barb of a stingray. It is hard to put into words just how profound of an impact this man had on the world of animal conservation. Above all else Steve Irwin‘s remembered as being one of the kindest men to every grace our television sets. His heart was full of love. Love for every creature on planet earth and love for his family.
To honor Steve Irwin’s legacy on the 10th anniversary of his tragic death I’ve pulled one of my favorite clips of his, the one where he encounters the poisonous and powerful Komodo Dragon. Below this clip is a very heartfelt Instagram post by Steve’s daughter Bindi:
