In a month where internet jokesters forced the Cincinnati Zoo to close its Twitter account after bombarding it with Harambe memes and a year where they hijacked a contest to give a ship the name ‘Boaty McBoatFace,’ the Philadelphia Zoo announced they would hold a contest to name a gorilla born there.
The phrase “It’s your funeral” has never been so apt.
Odds are it will not allow write-ins, but Twitter has already erupted with ideas.
