BBC news anchor Dan Walker was minding his own business, doin’ his job like he’s paid to do when he spotted a couple having sex on the beach behind him. Instead of just ignoring them and continuing on with his broadcast, Walker tried to play the pair off by saying “they’re reading a book…in a strange pose?” among other unlikely excuses.
Twitter even inserted themselves into the action with the hashtag #copacanoodle:
Hey man, it’s not like that’s the worst thing to come out of the Rio Olympics so far. It could’ve been worse – as in, fake robbery story and Brazilian police outrage-worse.
