In 2004, Captain Humayun Khan died in a suicide bombing in Iraq. His actions, in which he charged a suspicious cab and ordered his fellow soldiers away, is credited with saving many U.S. lives.
In 2009, in response to a demand made by the president of Afghanistan after numerous civilian deaths, U.S. officials changed the rules of engagement for soldiers in Afghanistan.
In 2016, Donald Trump’s spokeswoman, Katrina Pierson, went on CNN and said that Khan’s 2004 death in Iraq was the direct result of the rule change in Afghanistan in 2009.
The campaign is full of fucking morons.
