Alabama Crimson Tide offensive coordinator Lane Kiffin has been known to, how do I put this, be a bit of a conniving prick. From celebrating touchdowns before passes are even thrown to rumors of an alleged Tinder used for hooking up with girls—he’s still, technically, married, remember—Kiffin just has one of those faces and personalities that makes you want to punch him.
A former Tennessee Volunteers football coach—who openly left the program to take the gig at USC—Kiffin took a shot at his former employer on Twitter today, giving Vols fans even more of a reason to talk shit about him.
The tweet, which included a link to a story about recruits in the state of Tennessee leaving to go to programs like Kiffin’s Alabama, is a straight-up slap in the face of UT, with Kiffin happily trolling the school and giving the current squad more motivation when the two teams play this upcoming season.
As you’d imagine, Volunteer fans were pissed—just check out some of the replies to Kiffin’s tweet.
Keep on doing you, Lane.
