For those who didn’t know, today’s Belk Bowl is between North Carolina State and Mississippi State, not North DAKOTA State and Mississippi State—which, may have gotten you confused after hearing this Pac-12 official’s announcement during the action.
Naturally, any error in a public forum will draw attention—and those good ol’ Tweeters let this poor dude have it!
North Dakota State plays in the FCS Title Game on Jan. 9th, so even the official Belk Bowl Twitter account had some fun.
It’s been a tough season for officials, so add this one to the list of blunders.
