The deadliest shooting spree in U.S. history has not taken the love and humanity from the people of Orlando. Despite having 50 people mercilessly slaughtered at the Pulse nightclub, kindhearted Good Samaritans have showed up in droves to help the victims of the heartless attack.
There are 53 people who were injured in the heinous attacks of a gay nightclub, many of them are “critically ill.” The citizens of Orlando have gathered together to combat hate with love by marching to the local blood donation centers and giving blood. Something a sexually active gay man can not do legally The federal Food and Drug Administration recommends that donations not be accepted from gay men if they’ve had sex in the past year, a policy that was established when the HIV and AIDS epidemic began.
The generosity has been so extremely overwhelming that it has caused huge lines, traffic jams and one blood donation center had to turn away donors because they ran out of supplies.
