Carnage. Pure fucking carnage.
That’s what’s going on in the French city of Marseille right now, as hooligans are fighting and running rampant on the streets, destroying literally everything in sight ahead of England and Russia’s first Group B match of Euro 2016.
Fights are breaking out all over the city, and there’s countless videos of people getting/laying knocked out in the streets. Riot meter at 100 right now, and it’s some really scary stuff.
Some absolutely awful sights. Police are said to be responding and using water cannons now to disperse the fans just 2 hours before kick-off. But with such an influx of people, it appears Marseille authorities have their hands quite full.
Place looks like a goddamn war zone.
Police have reportedly arrested at least 6 people in connection with the riots, which seems like quite the small drop in the pond…
