It has been a little over a week since the news about legendary fighter Muhammad Ali passed away at the age of 74, with millions of people showing what the man known as “The Greatest” meant to them.
With Ali being laid to rest yesterday in his hometown of Louisville, Ky., the sports world continued to pay homage to him—and Washington Nationals superstar Bryce Harper did so in a pretty unique way during his team’s game against the Philadelphia Phillies last night.
This wasn’t the first time that the reigning NL MVP posted something about Ali to show how much the guy inspired him, as Harper also tossed these two pics onto his IG following the boxer’s death.
Harper’s one of the best players on the planet and plays with a undeniable passion for the game, so it’s cool to see where he got some of that motivation from—Muhammad Ali.
