Even on Christmas Eve, Buffalo Bills head coach Rex Ryan refused to give something nice to someone, as he hilariously called out new Dallas Cowboys starting quarterback Kellen Moore—who came in during last week’s game against the New York Jets and grabbed the starting role.
With Moore getting his first crack as an NFL starter this Sunday, Ryan—who saw the kid play firsthand during preseason—trolled the lefty QB as only Sexy Rexy can.
Speaking to reporters, here’s what Rex Ryan’s had to say about Kellen Moore, per the Star-Telegram:
“Well, first thing that jumps out at you, he’s a little bitty dude. You’re expecting these big, 6-5 dudes and here’s a guy that’s 6-foot. Then he’s throwing with the wrong hand.”
So, Rex isn’t all that impressed with the physical look of Moore and that he throws left-handed, but that doesn’t mean he completely disrespects the signal-caller, adding this, per the Star-Telegram:
“But he’s accurate. He’s poised. And obviously the numbers he put up in college speak to that as well. He’s a smart guy. That’s kind of what jumps out at you.”
With Buffalo set to square-off against Moore and the Cowboys this weekend, Rex will see if the itty bitty quarterback can play large against his squad.
