Things have been pretty bad for the Sacramento Kings for awhile, you know, with the whole clash between young superstar and head coach—which young superstar won with the coach getting canned—and the general sense that the team has no fucking clue what its doing.
And while fans would seem upset with that, the team is trying to cheer supporters up—with a promotion that’s so crazy it’s actually genius.
After unveiling its new logo today, the Kings announced that they’ll pay for fans who are willing to get the damn thing inked on them, available at five local tattoo parlors on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Look, the Kings suck so much ass that this might be the only way for anyone in Sac-town to think about them, so, who knows, maybe people are actually crazy enough to make this work.
