Tom Hardy has the reputation of being snarky and difficult to the press and sometimes even his fellow co-stars. Hardy himself knows this and even explained the roots of his inclination to be scornful in an interview with E! Online back in March:
“I have a reputation for being difficult. And I am. I am, actually,” he says. “But I’m not unreasonable. It used to be that if somebody hurt me I’d lash out a bit, in order to get them to stop. It ultimately comes from fear.”
In the nine months since the interview, it doesn’t appear that Hardy has learned from his childish ways as a critic has blasted the 38-year-old actor on Twitter for snubbing him in a press junket for The Revenant.
Drew McWeeny of HitFix was set to interview the actor but the interview never came to fruition after Hardy made him wait for three hours before canceling the interview all together.
