Jordan Spieth was on a roll today at the Masters where he had a fairly comfortable lead for most of the day. Four straight birdies to end the front nine gave him a five stroke lead, but then things went horribly wrong for last year’s Masters champion.
A bogey on 10, another at 11, and then a terrible 12th hole where he hit two balls into the water and ended up scoring a quadruple bogey
Here’s a quick visual of how bad that hole was for Spieth.
Spieth was never able to recover and Danny Willett went on to win his first Masters tournament.
