In 2015, Major League Baseball changed for the good when an influx of talented young men got their chances to prove themselves to the veterans and coaches around the league. The movement has changed the face of the game, causing an entirely new audience of fans.
The Chicago Cubs and Houston Astros quickly became the biggest surprise in both of their respective leagues when they surpassed all expectations and both teams made a World Series run. It was several years of losing and frustration but when the Cubs beat the Pirates in the Wild Card last season, it marked their first playoff win since Game 4 of the 2003 NLCS.
On the other hand, the Houston Astros spent six seasons losing 86 or more games each year, including three consecutive seasons of more than 100 losses, before exploding into the AL playoffs nearly beating the Kansas City Royals in the ALDS.
With all this amazing talent entering the league, what better time to take a look back at something cool, like throwback uni’s?
