Even if you don’t know jack shit about hockey, there’s a pretty good chance you know who Tyler Seguin is.
A top-five player in the league right now and former Stanley Cup champ, Seguin has bro’d the fuck out for years before realizing that he’s talented as fuck, finding himself among the league leaders in a bunch of statistical categories.
Unfortunately, the Dallas Stars center took a nasty hit to his season when he had his Achilles tendon cut by a skate in his team’s game last night—and he showed the damage by tweeting out a gory photo of the “paper cut.”
It might not be the biggest scar out there—or even the worst we’ve seen in the NHL—but there’s something about it that makes me want to barf up everything I’ve consumed over the past day or so.
The injury is so severe that it’s going to sideline Seguin till the playoffs, costing him three to four weeks of the regular season after a 15 percent cut of his Achilles.
Here’s to him getting back on the ice soon, and never posting something this nasty ever again—my stomach’s too weak for that kind of shit.
