Last week, Chumlee of Pawn Stars fame was arrested by Clark County police after they reportedly found drugs and guns while executing a search warrant of his Las Vegas home in conjunction with a sexual assault investigation.
Well as it turns out, police found A LOT of guns and A LOT of drugs. As in 12 firearms, a very healthy amount of marijuana, prescription-grade pills, and, wait for it…some meth, because why not?
Chumlee, whose real name is Austin L. Russell, now faces 19 counts of drug possession. I’m not one to speculate, but that’s kind of kingpin status, right?
The following excerpts from Russell’s arrest report were obtained by the folks over at TMZ, and you’ve just got to see for yourself what Chum was packin’. A whole lotta heat…
Ahhh the “Chum-Chum room.” That’s fucking GOLD.
Aside from the 12 guns, four of which were registered to his name, Chumlee was allegedly in possession of:
– 1 gallon Ziploc with 116 grams (1/4 pound) of marijuana
– 2 clear jars of marijuana (8.2 grams and 2.8 grams)
– 1 bag with 4.4 grams marijuana
– 7 clear capsules with 1.7 grams of methamphetamine powder
– 17 Xanax bars
– A $1 bill with visible “white residue”
However, the television star reportedly maintains he isn’t a drug dealer and had the large amount of weed on hand because he “likes to smoke a lot.” The meth, however, wasn’t commented on.
Shortly after the above police report surfaced, Chumlee’s attorneys issued the following statement:
“We will be analyzing what was allegedly found and whether the alleged seizure was lawful in a courtroom, not in the media. Austin (Chumlee’s real name) has great faith in the judicial system, as do we, and looks forward to a just resolution of this matter.”
Well, I guess we’ll see how that holds up in court, but it’s not looking like a good deal for the Pawn Stars man right now…
