Listen, if Anonymous is coming after you, chances are you’re a bad guy.
The same hacktivists responsible for going after the likes of ISIS have vowed once again to launch cyber operations aimed at thwarting Donald Trump’s presidential campaign.
In a new video, a member of Anonymous donning a Guy Fawkes mask, as often seen in their public addresses, relays the message that the hacktivist group will not stand for the hate that Trump is purveying, and declares “total war” on the the Republican nominee front runner.
In the call to arms which can be seen below, the shadowy figure maintains Donald Trump is running an “inconsistent and hateful campaign [that] has not only shocked the United States of America,” but has “shocked the entire planet with [his] appalling actions and ideas.”
“Dear Donald Trump, we have been watching you for a long time and what we see is deeply disturbing. Your inconsistent and hateful campaign has not only shocked the United States of America [but] you have shocked the entire planet with your appalling actions and ideas. You say what your audience wants to hear but in reality you don’t stand for anything except for your personal greed and power.”
“We need you to shut down his websites, to research and expose what he doesn’t want the public to know. We need to dismantle his campaign and sabotage his brand. We are encouraging every able person with a computer to participate in this operation. This is not a warning, this is a declaration of total war. Donald Trump – it is too late to expect us.”
April 1, commonly known as April Fools Day, is the date set out by Anonymous to commence the cyberwarfare attacks on Trump’s entities including TrumpChicago.com, DonaldJTrump.com, Trump.com, Trumphotelcollection.com and Trump’s online campaign destinations including DonaldTrump2016online.com and CitizensForTrump.com.
It’s being reported that the hacktivist collective has already started what’s being deemed as #OPTrump by releasing personal information about Trump and his staff, including, but not limited to, The Donald’s social security number.
Welp, if you come at the king, you best not miss…
