2016 Sports Illustrated cover girl Ashley Graham is the feature of a new body-positive commercial for Lane Bryant. But apparently it’s too risque for TV networks like NBC, which sent it back for editing. Here’s a statement from the network via People:
“As part of the normal advertising standards process, we reviewed a rough cut of the ad and asked for minor edits to comply with broadcast indecency guidelines. The ad was not rejected and we welcome the updated creative.”
That’s a damn shame.
