Despite their best player being a 5’9” point guard who was chosen as the very last pick in the 2011 NBA draft, the C’s entered Saturday night’s game against the Cavs winning 5 straight and currently holding a TD Garden record for 13-straight home wins. The Celtics came out firing last night, amassing an 18-point first quarter lead on the Eastern Conference’s best team, but couldn’t hold onto the lead as the Cavs pulled out the win 120-103 win.
Despite the loss, Boston didn’t leave Cleveland’s Q Arena without wounding the bull, as Avery Bradley left LeBron’s jock strap on the other side of the court after a clever crossover that resulted in a bucket and a chorus of “Oooo’s” from the crowd. GOT ‘EM!
