So, this is disheartening, profoundly irritable, shitty as all hell. Apparently, Marvel’s stepped forth to rebut any notion anyone, any studio, might have about proposing an R-rated superhero movie. Disney’s CEO Bob Iger himself threw down the hammer of brilliant finality when he released a quick ‘n vaguely brutal statement for Collider that reads, “We don’t have any plans to make R-rated Marvel movies.”
Okay, so I guess the door hasn’t been shut entirely, but that’s a pretty solid precursor for what we might be able to expect. So it seems that ‘Deadpool‘ will remain the only R-rated Marvel film for a long and very unfortunately while at the least. I don’t know about you bros, but I think it’s about damn time to drop some supersparked fiery profanity in these superhero flicks. Like what does Tony Stark actually wanna’ hit straight-edged, valiant, strict-rule abiding goodboi Captain America with? I guarantee you we haven’t even breached the depths of that inappropriate verbal duel. Anyways, all we can do is hope that the fight for more f-bombs, and shits, and all the like ain’t over yet.
