Ahead of their UFC 196 bout this Saturday evening, Conor McGregor is back at his pre-fight predictions, and the Irishman doesn’t think Nate Diaz will make it through five minutes with him.

Diaz was tapped to take on McGregor after his original opponent, Rafael dos Anjos, was sidelined with an injury just two weeks out from the fight. As a last minute addition to jump in the Octagon with The Notorious, Nate Diaz is going to have his hands quite full if Conor McGregor has any say in the matter. His pockets too, because this fight made Diaz an instant millionaire, too.

McGregor went on with the banter (you can find the whole press conference HERE):

“End of the first, I feel he will be put away,” McGregor said at the UFC 196 press conference. “I respect Nate. Don’t get me wrong. I do respect Nate. There’s a lot of (expletives) in this game and he is not one of them. Don’t get me wrong, there’s a respect there between us but it’s business in there and business is business.”

“Don’t get me wrong, there’s a respect there between us but it’s business in there and business is business. He will be KO’d inside the first round.”

Previously, McGregor’s predictions have served him well. Prior to taking on Chad Mendes at UFC 189, The Notorious actually tried to wager $3 million with UFC President Dana White that he’d KO Mendes before the second round was through. He did.

Then, in his most recent victory at UFC 194, McGregor vowed to send Jose Aldo packing in the first round. We all know what happened just 13 seconds into the fight.

Saturday cannot come soon enough.
