Real-Life Ron Swanson Builds Wooden Chair With A Hidden Cooler That Automatically Serves Him Beer

This man from Michigan is a real-life Ron Swanson, a master woodworker who is capable of building things mere mortals like me cannot even imagine. I love a good Adirondack chair, truly. I’m a born and raised Floridian, but I spent all of my summers growing up in the Adirondacks because half of my family is from this region, and I’m actually in the Adirondacks now after running from Hurricane Irma as it scored a direct hit on my hometown of Sarasota.

This is an Adirondack chair unlike anything I’ve ever seen before. It serves beer automatically at the pull of a lever. The beers drop in out of a hidden cooler in the back of the chair, and all of this is built right into the woodwork.

The real-life Ron Swanson behind this chair is a man named Matt Thompson who owns and operates Thompson Woodworks in Garden City, Michigan. Matt actually makes a ton of beer-focused wood products, which you can check out on his website Michigan Brew. If you’re interested in learning more about this chair you can check out Matt’s website and/or his YouTube channel by following any of those links above. (h/t Tastefully Offensive)
