The Kansas City Chiefs put on a dominating performance in Foxboro last night during the first game of the NFL season, prompting Patriots fans to immediately start freaking out about their quarterback situation and spawning plenty of new memes in the process.
Scott Van Pelt was tasked with recapping the game, and went on to showcase the pratfalls of live TV in the process with his profane mispronunciation of “Kansas City”:
After he misspoke, SVP prophesized “That’s going to be on the internet,” and he was certainly right. It might not be as funny as the reporters who have accidentally reported athletes were sidelined with a “bulging dick,” but hearing someone swear on national television really never gets old.
