Ah, team Twitter beefs between three kinda-not-really competitive teams who all came up a bit short of making the playoffs last year and are thrusting their blue-balled frustration onto each other. Gotta love it. The Titans, Colts and Vikings Twitter accounts engaged in a super petty argument over one fucking word on Tuesday that had nothing to do with the word ‘football.’

The asinine argument needed a hero to torch the entire thing, and the unlikely hero was, yep you guessed it, The Merriam-Webster Dictionary. But we’ll get to that in a bit.

Now, lets get to the genesis of this spat. It all started when the Colts tweeted a photo with the hashtag #ColtsForged.

Innocent enough, no? Well not it you’re the Titans, who decided to whine about plagiarism.

The Titans were so mad online that they started shooting darts at fans.

Is this petty enough for you yet? Buckle up!

The irony of the Titans getting butthurt about plagiarism is that they took the exact ‘Forge Ahead’ slogan from the Minnesota Vikings, who posted it a year before they did. THE MADNESS!

The Colts then decided to declare that the word “Forged” has been around for centuries. Good one, Indianapolis. You fucking fucks.

Just before the three teams started arguing over what color mirrors are, Merriam-Webster dropped a scud missile to silence the nerdbergers helming their social media accounts.

Merriam-Webster, what’s the definition of the word: ‘Fatality’?
